Since the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival last September and the ensuing feature video from Off Center Harbor, we’ve had many requests for study plans of the build. Here they are. She is an all electric 40 foot home on a catamaran base. The first one has traveled 1,500 miles in Pacific Northwest waters without every needing shore power to charge her batteries!

Recently Sam offered study plans for the Honker H.B. 20 – a houseboat placed into an extended and widened Honker, The study plans sales response was amazing. Could we go one better? Introducing the Mud Dauber 22 H.B. based on the Mud Dauber 23 design. The parallel sides of the hull allow more of a houseboat feel plus the beach landing gear in the bow offers shore access for extended beach cruising with all the luxuries of a tiny home on the water. She adds a foot and a half in length compared to the Honker and enables having a full time queen-size berth.
