Sam knew the boat well and we currently have that very boat here in Olympia. The customer wanted a longer version with more of an interior including an enclosed steering station, a small head compartment and compact galley and a wood stove plus a v-berth.  And of course it needed to be a stich and glue build. Sam designed the Storm Petrel for Cyndie who had been brought up in the boating world of Seattle. Today Cyndie’s son carries on a family tradition as the owner of Storm Petrel.
